Cooksillustrated.com is the e-zine for a monthly periodical. It has a wide, and very busy looking home-page, with a version of the double row of tabs with 17 categories, but I didn't have any trouble finding things. Cook's does a lot of testing of recipes, cookware, utensils and just about anything to do with cooking.
The website contains a phenomenal amount of information from many years of published magazines and it is all organized so that it is easy to find what you want. The one drawback for me is the recipe search function. A search for "Stuffed Peppers" yielded two pages of any recipe with the word "peppers" in it; a minor inconvenience, but one that should be easily fixable.
